When it comes to setting new benchmark in systems and procedures, Al Khaleej Sugar has always taken the lead. It has also adopted and implemented other related quality systems.
- January 1998 - the first manufacturing company in the UAE to be ISO 9002:1994 certified
- April 2004 - Achieves the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification
- April 2004 - HACCP–Food Safety–Codex Alimentarius Commission from TUV Nord
- April 2007 - OHSAS 18001:2007 – Occupational Health & Safety from TUV Nord
- May 2009 - ISO 14001:2004 – Environment Management System from TUV Nord
Quality Standards
The Company has been awarded HACCP Certificate for Food Hygiene by TUV, Essen, Germany, in recognition of its establishment and compliance of HACCP system for refining of raw sugar.
